About us

TCY-Coffee Yard Company Limited, founded in Aug 2018, was born out of the farmer’s outcry due to the severe effects of post-harvest handling challenges which had reduced their accessibility into the export market as well as reduced household income. With these and more challenges, in 2018, 3 determined entrepreneurs founded the company to increase market access and income from coffee value chain stakeholders, especially smallholder farmers, with Focus on high-quality natural and washed Arabica processing techniques serving over 3500 registered farmers. To date, the TCY has the capacity to process over 2000 metric tons of coffee annually into specialty natural Arabica (65%) and Fully washed Arabica (35%). TCY plans to increase its capacity to process 5,000 metric tons of cherry. The company was created with the sole intent of solving coffee quality issues.
